Phoenix Arizona-based rapper Ramond shares a heartfelt and nostalgic track titled “Smart Guy”. The solemn tune sees him reflecting on being the proverbial smart guy in school and how people treated him differently. Bolstered by a chilled, laidback soundscape, Ramond takes us deep with vivid lyrics about his experiences and how they framed him later on in life. The record features singer J Loryn who adds a sublime melodic chorus to the track and helps tie it all together. The track is produced by Carter, with additional guitar and bass from Enmanuel Alexander.

Ramond’s recent venture was producing the soundtrack for the Black Sands comic book and animated series.
