Generation 93 bringing a fresh sound, they released the mixtape”Ocean Views” in 2014 and did not receive much feedback. Now over a year later they have released a music video shot and edited by Providence, Rhode Island based videographer, Paul McCormick to raise awareness of the grind. Personally I am feeling the fun vibes.

About:

The record is not included on any projects and is titled “Shabump”. It features a funky 90’s beat produced by @Thovo and a video shot within a train yard located in Providence, Rhode Island. Rappers, B-Young and Romen make up Gen93. You can find them spitting verses on top of train cars until the Amtrak Police show up. Regardless, the feds showed up too late and the crew had already gotten the footage they needed for an ill ass video. With artwork created from Atlanta based graphic designer @Moe_Skrilla and mixing and mastering by Providence based engineer @mikeslickhs, the single is an all around piece of artwork that needs to be shared with the world.

They are currently finishing up a new mixtape called “Space Jams” that has been created with the same team. Their first release from that tape is “BHB”, which showcases the new sound I am referring to. This video is set to drop January 8th, 2016 on their youtube account. With the mixtape to be released soon after, Gen93 plans to book shows along the East Coast to expand their fan base organically. They are hoping people finally catch on to what they have to offer. They have released that “Space Jams” mixtape cover art along with the “BHB” single artwork on @moe_skrilla’s instagram. @forshowfilms is currently trying to quit his day job and become a full time videographer, which is thoroughly expressed through his shooting and editing on this video, “SHABUMP”.
