Mello Music Group’s latest concoction throws producer Apollo Brown together with emcee’s Verbal Kent and Red Pill to make the group Ugly Heroes. DeLorean a.k.a. DeLo is a bubbling up from the underground emcee. The Houston emcee is grinding hard to drop a full length cut titled Grace. It is from this full length that DeLo premiers this track called Whip and he features a general on the song in the name of Big K.R.I.T. I appreciate DeLo for his efforts and its nice to hear an upcoming cat going for the gusto. Hit the play button folks and speak on this.
Eb7#9 is a producer hailing from NY and I must say, this project is truly amazing in more ways than one. Simply put, its a combination of various influences layered with hard pounding lo fi drums and percussions. At one point he’s strumming the guitar, at another he carefully chops up jazz piano chords and off kilter sounds to create some type of dark, grim soundscape that immediately triggers scenes from some 70s low budget sci fi flick.
