Our Latest versus, this time we have John Graham's quick and witty floetic lyrics, over French producer Sizemen super dope, african beat.
I first heard the sizemen beat, courtesy of our editor ~peacelove, that found the french producer and posted his 2 beat tapes a while back. This beat is off his EP,"Sizemen in Africa", we normally ask for original beats off producers, for the versus, but this track was too crazy to pass on, so decided to keep it aside, until I could find someone dope enough to kill the beat....enter John Graham...a brother that got in touch via twitter, I listened to his work and posted a track by the name "Never Second Guess" so so fresh...when you post music day in and day out, it's difficult to find new artists that genuinely surprise you, and Jhon was just that, a super talented MC with witty lyrics and dope flows...I reached out, and asked him if he'd be up to spitting to this crazy joint by Sizemen...he listened to it, and although was a bit different to what he is used to spit to, he agreed as it was challenging.
The result (above), speaks for it self....press play above and enjoy the dopeness of this international collab...another classic Word Is Bond Versus for ya'll to enjoy. Hope you've been enjoying the WIB Versus series so far.

When I first received this Sol Brova track, the initial thought that came to me was “freedom”. The strings, drums and vocal sample just made me ask myself the question “what is freedom and what does it mean to truly be free?”. However, I was not sure what angle I wanted to speak from so I left the music alone for a few days to let my thoughts marinate. One night though, I had a dream that I was flying and looking over the whole world from a bird’s eye view. I saw everything... including people, places and situations. For the first time in my life, I saw everything crystal clear. When I woke up, I decided to write about my dream because the dream defined for me what freedom truly is. For me, it means “free to be yourself with no restrictions, no regrets and treating every moment as a gift”.

So as far as lookin' and diggin' for backdrops, It's always favored to know when something falls in your lap and it's to dope and composed with a sound way beyond its time... In Another Word Is Bond VERSUS series, we shall slap another WIB HEAT ROCK..Amongst a cheek bone or just cheek in general...
A couple years back, stumbled upon one of my personal favorites as a producer/composer of beats, He goes by the name of "Dakota" Pennslyvania bound and everytime he drops a beat tape, Pure Fire!...Straight Fire!...Love his sampling of pure bread soul enhanced with a Dakota Style of rhythm and play...Its very unforeseen and golden in sound... WIB is very blessed to have this very talented composer to bless us with the upper hand in this Heater you will press play on..."Without You"

It was late evening at Diggler's residence, Digging untill coming across "Savant".. An instrumental project that was composed by "Maxx Julian"... Began to dig into the beat tape and proceeded to head nod to the abstract rhythms nice rich soul and funky samples...My mental was gettin' bombed and peaced by audible acrylics by the Detroit native...In conclusion one production stuck out and was immediately was in a trance...Track entitled "Blisters"...
Off in a deep trance on about the rhythm and it took 2 mins to know who would kill it proper and give it justice along with Florida Style...
First in conjunction with the homie... He had added me on Twitter...Curious to know who this person was proceeded to peep his work...and in an instant "Blisters" came to mind...He Goes by the name "Sincere Vega" .. Born and raised in Florida...His style is quite unique, its hip hop infused with a story telling type of steeze...His delivery is well projected and assertive in his sincerity of his vocal tone...
Blisters is a classic and was killed instantly as soon as it was 20 seconds in the track...but all in all...Peep both of these cats delivering a dope project in the making...because in after linking up the too artists...They went ahead and started establishing a sound all by them selves...Make way for "sinAmaxx" in the near future...We will exclusively run this through WIB as there is already a leaker from the dopeness...Should really check that tho...

Surfing through Twitter... "Cose MP" Producer from AZ had recommended to hear what was brewin on his side of things..."Glass Ceiling Effect Squad"...Is what was introduced...Cose MP and Doctor Khil are producers from a wide variety of states from AZ to NY...G.C.E Is a hip hop collective out of Upstate,NY. Ranging from Albany, Saratoga, Troy, and everywhere in between, Glass Ceiling Effect is a product of its environment and far different from what you've come to expect from hip hop today.
After havin' listen to G.C.E's composition...It was already known to me that "Dr. Khil" was going to be acquainted with a new sound...A new style of breed in Mc's and Producers with their range of hiphop evolution in the human generation of today...Reppin' Whittier California...YOUNG AND COLLECTIVE...For me it was grounded in sound to know that Dr. Khil had a banger for the Young...In First hearing of "Y&C" Diggler was searchin' and stumbled upon The Nine90s and Cabbage Bag Gang that bring up the sound of the California Collective..Rock On, EJR, Leroy Fuego, Trizz, c.Goodz, & Mysterious Jay...The backdrop was sent immediately and Young Members Trizz and Leroy Fuego glazed and coated Khil's bacdrop effortlessly with that Young seduction... Gheat!!..Just want to thank Dr. Khil and Y&C...For the contribution and for Supporting WIB and also f**kin' with 602Diggler...Others are in the works so stay locked for infamous exclusive heat rocks!!...Here we go then....NEW YORK VS. Chicago Mc/Producer by the name of "FeSo" his lyrical gymnastics are one of a kind..Foundation of intellect and with the influence of his surroundings, combined with a natural gift for music..After hearing his "Dont Sleep" Projects is was known already to hit up homie with a WIB Versus..FeSo aims to inspire listeners to chase after their own dreams as well.

North Carolina composer/MC by the name of "Castle"...Upon listening and being a fan of his work for a minute was astonished when the last project he had accomplished was his last one entitled "Ditch Effort"..All his material is epic and very intriguing to hip hop that is known to the masses...Lacing up the beats and rhythms which such proficient skill and ease...It was in my thoughts and plans to ask "Castle" to contribute to a Versus...Very blessed to add that the homie agreed and as you listen to what has been a epic track..Would have to mention that this is extreme fire!!..One of a kind dope track!!...Having to think that this hip hop composer would let go of making neck breaking melodies and ambient chill vibes..Here is what has been said about it..
"This is the last solo project I'll be releasing for a while. After performing for almost 20 years (since I was five), I've grown tired of seeking a record deal or independent recognition. Giving up music is not my intention. I don't think I ever could. I can, however, give up the "grind."
I don't plan to leave the grind behind forever either, but I have no idea when I'll return to it. To those who've paid attention to me over the years, I appreciate your love and support.

Was digging around and found this and started bumpin' 'the jamiroquai beat tape'...thinkin' like..This French Mc/Producer has some fire!..."Nicky Lars"....The homie is currently working on his debut album Musica Negra, out in early 2011...Keep it Locked...Back to the subject... Instantly found the heater of a beat in this WIB Versus..The Proposed beat..."Old to New" Just a incredible master piece of production work...Had to hit J up from the WIB fam...We both agreed this slapped mandibles and neck joints outta place and the truth is..This beat was only half used...SLAP!!
It was only right for someone to roast and toast this beat on contact..So in listening to this beat, conjured up on the MC born in Philly with a Phoenix Foundation.."MegaRan" aka "Random"...As It states in his website.."Random's unique combination of fantasy and introspective hip-hop has found its way into TV shows, movies, video games, and even coursework at several universities. That's Random.
