Ok, so i tried to write the last episode of the underground chronicles quicker than the last one, but i totally failed.
The tour is over now for about two weeks, and i'm happy to chill out at my flat. I started making beats again and work on the new album, which hopefully will be released in autumn this year, thats why i completely lost focus about this shit..
I wrote my last report when we were in plauen. The show wasn't too good, cause there were not too many people at the club. But anyway, we kicked it and left the next morning to splash festival, where we met the whole gang (olski, twit one, dexter, hulk hodn, retrogott, morlockk dilemma and and and...). The festival was very well organized, luckily dexter had oodles of drink and food tickets, so we had a feast and the drinks were comin fast.

I have to apologize for the long delay, on the third part of the underground chronicles. We haven't had much time to chill since we started as we have shit to do every day. and when I had the chance to chill out a bit i wasn't in the right mood or just too tired to write.
Stuttgart, Vienna, Cologne, munich, Erfurt, Berlin, Dresden… they were the last tour stops. It was crazy. we met so many people and experienced a lot of good days, if Robert wouldn't take pictures all the time I would have forgotten most of it...
The Underground Chronicles Of Suff Daddy: Part 2
All right… so now I just woke up in Cologne at Robert Winters place, where I have slept on the couch for the last few days. Miles arrived last Monday, we had two days to rehearse and I think the show will be dope… like the last week was.
Vienna was very nice, I just love the city. We had a good show with Brenk and Dexter on Friday, although it was hot as hell, the sweat just kept dripping down from my nose while I was djing. And somehow the humid atmosphere kept us from drinking too much. Which is very unusual if Brenk and I get together. But in the end it was all good, the next day I was just walked the city from west to east. Beautiful!
The Underground Chronicles Of Suff Daddy: Introduction
So here we go. The Suff Chronicles.
I just packed my bags for a 5 week trip. I'm kinda excited, but right now I'm feeling like I wanna stay at home and chill… Anyway.
On June 22nd I'm goin on tour with my man Miles Bonny. If you don't know him check him out, he's a singer/producer/trumpet player from Kansas City and he's doing beautiful stuff.
We have worked together before, he's a cool dude and I'm really happy to do this shit with him. Robert Winter, the photographer of the Hi-Hat Club is also with us, he's documenting everything in pictures and videos. Furthermore Wido and Georg from Step Forward Booking will be there to take care of business, while we play music and get drunk. I think thats a fair division of work.
The tour will take us to eleven different cities in three weeks. Before that i'm goin to Vienna, Cologne and Düsseldorf where I play some gigs before Miles arrives.
EXCLUSIVE: The Underground Chronicles Of Suff Daddy (This Month)
Has it really been two month, since our last Chronicles?!...I must apologise for the lack of UC as we had a few thecnical issues, and couldn't make it for the past couple of months. But now we are officially back and better than ever.
I would like to thank Moka Only for joining us on our last series, very interesting in depth view at some of Torch's world, if you haven't peeped it, you missing out.
This month we bring you Suff Daddy. We have been posting about Suff, since day one, and honestly he is in my personal top 10 producers and has been getting better and better. . So it was only right that we'd approach and ask for Suff to share a bit of his personal live as a producer with everyone at WIB.
Gets even better though...Suff is on the road as we speak as he just started his European tour with Miles Bonny...he will be reporting from the road with stories and full pictures of what happens when it happens. The pictures will be taken by Photographer extraordinaire Robert Winter, the man responsible for all the epic Hi-Hat Club album covers. So this should be some epic stuff right here. Suff always brings excellence to his work, and it sounds like this Chronicles are going to be as excellent as his album releases.

The Underground Chronicles Of Moka Only: Adat LX20 MultiTrack Recorder
Recently I came into the good fortune of finally aquiring an adat lx20 multitrack recorder.. For those of you unfamiliar with what that is just picture a vcr type of unit that takes super vhs cassettes and spilits the tape into 8 seperate channels for recording.
This was the hot, go-to studio technology through the late 90s. I used this unit right up until june 2003 when it decided to eat my tape and explode.. well,ok, it didnt explode but that was it. Unit dead. and with an adat tape stuck inside. I was on a recording roll around that time although I was touring heavy and also splitting living time between bc and california. I did not have time to get the unit repaired right then cus it was imperative to keep recording. I rushed out and bought a roland vs 2480 recording unit on a whim and thats what i still use today. Anyhow, long story short as the years went by I would occasionally seek a replacement for the adat lx20 but never had success tracking one down whenever I'd look.

Greetings,yall.. so here I am,Torch,as some of you guys know me. I want to start these chronicles off by talking about my 'AIRPORT' album series. In early 2007 I had been working on a series of new tracks around jan and feb. The wether in vancouver at the time was pretty mild (for yall who dont knowVancouver gets spared the winter weather attrocities associated with a good portion of north america and canada,in particular.) Anyhow,with that being said, the nature of some of the tracks i was working on at the time took on a 'spring like quality' , as far as vibe and content go. I was slowly amassing close to an album's worth of material by the end of feb,that year. I had to take a trip to montreal for a couple shows and appearances. Was good times but the weather was shnit. Upon leaving montreal I had a fairly long wait at the airport before my flight.
The Underground Chronicles – Moka Only To Join Us In March
First and foremost I must thank Mr. J. Medeiros for joining us last month, I think we can all agree that his Chronicles where very insightfull and entertaining. We look forward to continue working and help him push his new album release. (Listen to his first single)
Next month we will have the highly original and super talented Moka Only, joining us for the Chronicles.
This Canadian artist has been in the underground scene, since 1995, and he was part of "Swollen Members" and has over 40 solo albums released. One of the most hard working brothers in this industry, he has loads stories and experience to share with you all.
