Our good man Hey!Zeus taking a pause from the forthcoming Obba Supa project here with a bunch of flute riddled instrumentals for the lovers of all things obscure. Joint Sichtexot/Chakra Sounds release.

Spreading from London, unstoppable and unquantized sound layers infiltrate the neocortex of the zeitgeist with pure and unfiltrated wave forms and coerce its cells into an unrestrained dopamine expression.
Coated in firsttakes from Radimo (saxophone and flutes) and Anthony Drawn(saxophone), Obba Supa‘s beat creator Hey!Zeus is starting out in new uneven terrain to combine fusion jazz and hip hop under a unique rain of endorphines.
What was started by creating the instrumental for the song, from which the „Seelenquantisierung“ album (Tufu & Anthony Drawn, January 2011) derived its name, is hereby seized again and will be continued in an even abstruser way with even freer drum constructions in album length.
As being the first Obba Supa free release on Sichtexot, Dopamine Doppelgangerz provides a decisive hint concerning how the further cooperation between Sichtexot and Chakra Sound in the future is likely to be.

The Obba Supa album „for.am“ is coming out at the beginning of 2012 on vinyl, brought to you by Sichtexot and Chakra Sounds.

You may have heard the name Ray Vendetta about if you follow the murkier side of London's underground hip-hop. Part of the new face of Triple Darkness plus affiliations with a slew of the illest minds in and around the british capital to his name, the North London emcee is set to drop his EP (entirely produced by Obba Supa's Hey!Zeus) Guess Who's Coming To Dinner within the next few weeks on Chakra Sounds.

This track Warpspeed Ahead features chords by iconic electronica producer Floating Points on the intro, our friend Hey!Zeus on the boards and Ray's lyrical dexterity, all types of ill!

A dope vinyl venue for crate diggers and vinyl lovers a like...unfortunately I can't make it this time. Thanks to Martin for sending this through.

"If your unaware of the Vinyl exchange, the idea behind it is a couple djs, a couple producers and a record shop bring down a crate of records they are up for swapping and get set-up with a little table and people can come in with their own records they would like to swap/sell have a chat with said dj or producer go through what's in their crates and swap/sell records with the dj/producer and also with other people who came to the event to do the same and so on.

Gonna have Evil ED and Sensei.FM djs spinning throughout the day and performances from Tranquill (One handed music) Fae Simons (Good Girls rarely make history) and Madame Peppa (Spredluv / Chakra sound) to wrap things up."
