The latest announcement from Mello Music Group has gotten everyone in a twist, as they bring together the talents of L’Orange and Stik Figa for a collaborative album entitled The City Under The City. As many of you know, L’Orange’s talents lie in the ways of the beats, so after numerous releases it will be interesting to hear him collaborate fully with an MC on a release (although his 2012 album The Mad Writer contained some amazing guest verses, the album flowed exceptionally well between instrumentals). However, based on ‘Blind Tiger’, the first single from the LP, Stik Figa seems like the perfect talent to complement the unique production. Look out for October 15th, the release date of The City Under The City, which will also feature verses from Rapsody, yU and Open Mike Eagle.
