They call this emcee Astronomical Kid and that is what has been shortened to Astro. The boy wonder really lights the mic on fire on ‘Don’t Test Me’ with his witty lyrics and his hunger for more. I was just stunned at his composure and more importantly the timeless approach to the video. The director took it back to the golden era and Astro’s glasses brings Big Daddy Kane to mind. You can definitely tell this kid went to the roots to build himself and understand the field he intends to play. I am told there is a mixtape in the works due in september and this is a video for one of the tracks on there. I can only anticipate that all the tracks on that compilation will be of the same caliber as this.
