Another powerful documentary that A3C will be featuring as part of their will be screening is BBOY For Life, which is brought to you by Nadus Films. The film is about how the life of bboys in Guatemala is affected by the climate of overwhelming gang violence. Last year, Coury Deeb started a kickstarter campaign to raise money to finish the production of the film, and to shop around for major distribution. They’ve raised enough money to finalize their product and was able to show it at major film festivals, and more.

“Our desire for the A3C Film Festival to be preeminent fest that bridges film and hip-hop,” says Charles Hudson of Atlanta Film Festival, one of two dozen Academy Award qualifying festivals in the U.S. “We couldn’t have a better choice to headline the second A3C Film Festival… it speaks to our mission to transform the way audiences see the world.”

In this spirit, additions to the festival will be announced in the coming weeks, as A3C is still accepting submissions until August 14th in its constant quest to see out and support independent artists. Narratives and documentaries, both feature length and short, as well as music videos are now being accepted at http://www.A3CFestival.com/film.
