After dropping the Mac Miller featured ‘Meagan Good‘ some days ago, Camp Lo and Pete Rock hit us up with a new joint titled ‘Clean Getaway’ which features Uncle Murda. I must say, this is vintage ‘Lo, equipped with retro fitted, gritty drums and a somewhat overall sparse production by the legendary Pete Rock. If you are new to Camp Lo, their extensive dadaist 70s slang might throw you off but the flow will keep you engaged throughout this short action packed tale.

I never had doubts about the sequel even if the first single didn’t quite hit me like it should but ‘Clean Getaway’ is definitely that quintessential 80 blocks type vibe I have been expecting.

Need I say more. Tune in and get with the program.

On July 30th, 2013 Pete Rock & Camp Lo will be releasing 80 Blocks From Tiffany’s Pt. II: a collaborative mixtape that includes guest appearances from Ab-Soul, Talib Kweli, M.O.P., Mac Miller and Uncle Murda who guests on “Clean Getaway” which Complex.com premiered earlier today.
