Slim The Chemist (real names David Liedtke) is a German born producer and he hooked up with the impeccable Roots Of Society for this groovy release titled Silence EP. The EP contains a dozen jazzy, head nodding joints that would take most producers back to the lab. Slim the Chemist has an uncanny knack of flipping and merging various sounds and textures to create a mellow, enthralling backdrop that draws the listener into an aural comfort zone.

Some of my favourite joints include ‘Represent’, ‘Kick A Rhyme‘, ‘Antique Black’ amongst others.

Tune in and get with the program y’all
