I love promoting British talent so when Omas came on my radar via London-based label Blunted Astronaut (started by a Pole perhaps but we are a multicultural society) I knew where it was going. ‘Taken Over‘ is a hint at what can from from Omas’ 7″ out on Blunted Astronaut later this year and, although there’s no confirmation as to whether this track will necessarily be featuring on it, it is a dope introduction. Sweet horns are juxtaposed with a crazy funky drum break which gets your senses tingling, while the instrumental develops over the 203 seconds from start to finish. Download it for free too!
