A DJ who can also rap, breakdance and produce is rare (add actor to that list and correct me if I’m wrong) and the crazily Tony Touch has been doing all these since the ’90s. I personally grew up on his various collaborations (for example, the Diaz Brothers with fellow rapper DJ Doo Wop) and of course the critically acclaimed Piece Maker series he put out back then.

Fast forward to now, I must admit it’s been almost a decade since Tony Touch’s last Piece Maker album. Are fans still going to check out for this? Trust me when I say yes; from the two joints I listened to, I have no doubts about this project. Thematically it follows the previous volumes, posse cut after cut, pairing different big names (Eminem, KRS One, Busta Rhymes et al) and fairly new cats (Gob Goblin, Spit Gemz), providing the perfect platform for MC’s all to shine on.

This is definitely something to tune into as you really don’t want to be left so get it right. Tune in and enjoy two solid joints for free while you can pre order PieceMaker 3 before it drops on the 9th of July.
