Tor was the first artist I ever posted on Word Is Bond, and is someone who I have a huge regard for. I’m exceptionally glad I came across that Illinoize tape when I did (just as I was getting in to Hip Hop), a mash up between Sufjan Stevens and a bunch of acapellas, two utterly contrasting styles, a release without which I’m sure I would have never developed the taste in music that I have now. It then makes me quite sad that, after some months Tor’s pending album is still pending. With the craft that he has, it should be something special.



Glass & Stone was first put out back in Spring. Having been out of the loop for some time I went to check on any updates for ‘Drum Therapy’ – the title of the album – only to find the last update on Facebook was ‘Got some news coming up really soon.’, dated July 12th. I dunno if it’s whether the label he signed to is messing him about or what… but eh, guess it’s out of our control.

Anyway, enjoy Glass & Stone, and hopefully I can bring you the new album soon. In the mean time, he has a few tracks on his Souncloud you can enjoy.
