A couple of nights ago before the House Of Blues opened the doors to the public, Guerilla Union held a private press conference with the media to announce the lineup for this year’s festival (by way of MC Supernatural‘s freestyle & DJ Quik‘s beatboxing skills). According to Chairman Chang Weisberg, the lineup isn’t finished. “A hundred percent there will be some more additions,” he said. With the lineup being more and more commercialized, the presence of the Golden Era is still there, with noteable acts like Salt-N-Pepa, Big Daddy Kane, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien [as Deltron 3030 w/Dan The Automator (pic: seated 2nd row, left side) & Kid Koala], Missy Elliot & Timbaland, and the return of Slick Rick.

Two noteable guests that appeared on the lineup was Lupe Fiasco, and Yo Gabba Gabba!‘s DJ Lance Rock (pic: 2nd row, right side), who’s popularly known to kids on the Nickelodeon network. When asked what he will be bringing to the table, DJ Lance Rock told the audience that they will have to wait and see what he will be bringing, and that it will be quite fitting for this year’s festival.

The highlight of the conference was the announcement of reuniting Bone-Thugs N Harmony. The issues stemming from Krayzie Bone leaving the group last year is now a thing of the past and all of that is behind them. Besides them performing for this year’s festival, they will be working on new music and dates to perform.

Fashawn ‘tapped’ Murs on the shoulder to collaborate on a project, which will be set to debut also at Rock The Bells. When asked about the rumors about Living Legends breaking up due to some conflict, Murs responded that he is ‘inactive’ in the group, due to him and his wife are adopting a child this year. He added,
