It seems as long as Coachella is still running, we’ll get daily updates on the rumored Hologram Tupac (H2P) tour.Dr. Dre was so enthusiastic about a H2P tour a few days ago but may have backed off after taking heavy criticism/being called a “vulture”. Now, he intends to put the rumors to sleep, kind of.
“It was strictly for Coachella,” Dre said in a video filmed backstage at Coachella. “Get it right. I want to get rid of all the rumors out there. This was not done for a tour.” Alright but Dre followed that up with, “If a tour happens, we’ll see.”

So, I guess, we will see. I have absolutely, positively, no problem with H2P at all. If any other artist came up with that genius idea (and had the considerable resources to pull it off), they wouldn to do the same. Props go to Dre for another savvy business decision.

Admittedly, a tour is kind of messed up but fans, myself included, would pay good money for H2P. Just charge double to normal price and give it to charity. Justification through philanthropy, 60 percent of the time it works every time.
