Professor Tip (Joseph Tipay) is a beat maker, dee jay, emcee (sometimes), artist, printmaker, and a plain creator. He hails from East Central Fresno, but has spent time in San Francisco, San Jose, and Honolulu. He makes music starting with old records, then samples them and manipulates them like an audio collage. There are no rules to what he uses. This is the second collection of beats made while living in S.F.’s Tenderloin and East Central Fresno. This beat tape was created using an Akai MPC 3000, Ensoniq ASR 10, Logic, MV-8000, Technic turntables and stacks upon stacks of records. It was made while living in the S.F. Tenderloin area and my hometown East Fresno. If you want to support, that’s cool, if your broke like me and you just want to listen, that’s cool too. If you want to purchase the beat in high quality to use for a project just hit me on the email…
