In hiphop, female emcees/rappers/conscious performers are definitely a rare breed in this genre of music. We still have Jean Grae, Eternia, Invincible, and a few others still doing their thing (i stress the word ‘few‘). I must say that there needs to be a equivalent amount of female talent because these bum-(insert negative connotation here) rappers that are currently out are really damaging the game (word to Del tha Funkee Homosapien). Female rappers who can talk about real life stuff, and look glamorous and sexy doing it is awesome! Not saying that it’s necessary, but the two can definitely be a powerful force linked together. T. Hobbs is one of those up-and-coming ladies that can help bring this game back in balance-mode.

A Queens, NY born-turned LA native, Tiffany’s talent came to life when she was 9 years old. She has practiced on her craft since then, only to be tested with working with the likes of Terrace Martin and PR1ME (‘In My Prime’ mixtape), and the list keeps getting much, much bigger. She’s currently working on a mixtape that due for a fall release, so all of you be prepared. Now, check out the tracks. The first one is produced by FOCUS (y’all know the name); and the second one is dedicated to Oscar Grant (RIP).
