The good fam over at Bama Love Soul has put together a remix suite for Jay Dilla’s “Pause“, different takes on the same track. There’s some really great stuff here.
“It’s amazing how time flies… Jay Dee’s Welcome 2 Detroit was released almost ten years ago to this day! BBE says the album was an inspired work that reflected Dilla’s varied influences which ranged from The Carpenters to Sergio Mendes. Now, a decade later, BamaLoveSoul releases The Pause Remix Suite: a compilation of remixes that honor Jay Dee’s influence on Hip Hop and the musical world at large.
