Emcee/activist Awkword brings us this intercontinental collabo with Malawian producer Dominant 1(Dude is nice on the mic too) titled The Ivory tower. The outspoken emcee breaks down the American educational system from the inside out and minces few words about the flaws in the system.

The collaboration is one of many from Awkword as he sets out in 2015 to bring us more interesting material with hip-hop acts from outside North America, Africa to be specific.

The Ivory Tower” is one of a number of collaborations with African emcees and producers you can expect from AWKWORD in 2015. He is working with controversial South African group DOOKOOM; and he is working with Chuck D’s Planet Earth Planet Rap and the people behind CultureFix on a massive posse cut to feature Hip Hop Pantsula of South Africa, Modenine of Nigeria, Khaligraph of Kenya, Five Steez of Jamaica, Latasha Alcindor (aka LA) of the US, and others.
