So I was one of the lucky few that checked out Flying Lotus at the Roundhouse in London last week – review coming later – in which he, naturally, dropped several unreleased exclusives including the debut of a version of ‘Eyes Above’ from his new album You’re Dead that features a previously-unheard Kendrick Lamar verse that a quick-witted cameraman captured on tape. It was probably the right choice to cut it from the album (two Kendrick features would have been overkill, even if that contradicts Thundercat‘s ubiquity) but it’s a nice trick to have up your sleeve for live shows.

Check our review for You’re Dead here.
