Finally the public can get their hands on Diabolic‘s latest effort Fightin Words. The LP is released through his own imprint, and so he’s able to display his art in full glory with no label restrictions. The 18 track project has collaborations with legends like RA the Ruggedman, Celph Titled, Sean Price, Vinnie Paz amongst others, while on the production side of things we have the likes of DJ Premier, 5th seal, C-Lance and SnowGoons. We can all bear testament to Diabolic’s verbal prowess on the mic but he takes it up a notch with some much needed socio-political commentary and tales of personal struggle to give the listener something to hold on to. This is a powerful project; the beats are banging, the rhymes are on point, and the timing is just right.
