EMC  is a super-group composed of Stricklin, Punchline, Wordsworth, and the legendary Masta Ace. They just put out an E.P. called The Turning Point to help whet our appetites for the full length project that drops later this year.

These guys truly are “Experts Making Classics.” I saw them last time they were in town and it was one of the best hip-hop shows I have ever seen. They smoothly transitioned between all of the different variations of their group and played some of their favourite jams from their solo and other collaborative projects. Last week’s show was no different. It was amazing!

Big shout out to the Beat Binjaz for bringing them to town and setting up this interview.

We had a great discussion and played some of their amazing music.
