Amityville-bred emcee Rozewood has came through to spread a couple of genius verses over a couple of J Dilla productions in I Rhyme Ill’. This joint, a tribute to the late Dilla, comes from the highly anticipated mix tape Lucid.Chxsts.

Roze spits:

“I write my rhymes in the sky with light sticks, scribing my name in the clouds to incite the crowd/I’m a martyr of a darker side, that brings us all to light/In shades of black & white, I’ll pay to catch a flight, that never left the port/ when all I had to do was just spread my wings of thought..”

I suggest that you sit back, relax, and simply enjoy this feel good track. It’ll make you think and nod your head at the same time.

This one’s for you, Jay Dee.
