The visuals for Cavalier‘s ‘Watch and Learn’ takes the viewer through the vista of an unfortunate kid who experiences life in a trap house. Stuck with his single drug dealing father, the kid’s existence is inconsequential to the “adults” surrounding him. The scene that hit me was where the kid was trying to fix himself some food and burnt his finger, and the only thing this lady who witnessed it all did was proceed to light her bud with the flames from the cooker (that’s some deep ish right there).

I won’t give away the plot so I hope y’all hit that play button and get the crux of the matter instead. What can I say? An absolutely brilliant song and video. The song is off his upcoming LP CHIEF.

Get with the program!

Cavalier of Quelle Chris’ Niggas Is Men fame drops the first visual and single from his anticipated full length, CHIEF out 9/9.

Watch and Learn produced by BMB Spacekid revisits the theme of the ‘trap house’ showcasing the daily motion through the eyes of its 9 year old resident and his single father/dealer.
