New York is having their first annual J Dilla tribute under the name, NY LOVES DILLA (similar to the DC one, two years back). If you have missed DAF8 last month, then here’s your chance to make up for missing out on one the biggest tribute events put together! This event will be hosted by Jairobi of ATCQ, which features the headliner Talib Kweli, along with many special guests. Live performances by YC the Cynic, Phony PPL, and a special DJ set from DJ Parler (who’s a part of Donuts Are Forever) will commence at 8pm. WARNING: Expect the line at Webster Hall to be long!
