After dropping three stellar singles, the duo of Blu & Nottz finally dropped their Gods In The Spirit EP. With such a title, we should expect the product to deliver nothing short of excellence. While some may complain about the length I particularly love the cohesiveness of this collaboration. Relatable subject matter, edgy cinematic/soulful soundscapes and of course Blu’s malleable flow makes this worth while. The guest appearances are more than a handful but they don’t detract the listener from the original theme of the EP.

Gods In The Spirit EP is a prime example of when collaborations go extremely right. Tune in and get with the program or beg to differ below.

PS: Don’t sleep on Nottz’s lyricism though.

After hitting the internet with the Nitty Scott, MC featured “Boyz II Men,” the soulful “End of the World,” featuring Rashad, and the feature heavy banger “Crooks in Castles,” L.A. spit kicker Blu and VA’s super producer Nottz Raw are pleased to release their collaborative extended play release, Gods In The Spirit.  Consisting of six tracks and featuring guest appearances from ANTHM, Homeboy Sandman, Sene, Johaz, Aloe Blacc, Co$$, Versis & Scienze, Definite Mass and Rashad, GITSis now available through all major digital retailers, for just $4.99.
